After updating #LineageOS (14.1) on my mobile today, the Gallery app refused to show any pictures. Checked for .nomedia files and other common problems, to no avail.

After some time I ended up deleting all files in /sdcard/DCIM/.thumbnails/ on a whim - and hey, Gallery is back to normal.
