Woah. Just posted on linux-m68k@vger.kernel.org: "I just received the news that the m68k backend for LLVM has been finished. It has not been merged upstream yet (that will take some time), but it should be usable now."

@mmu_man Made remember about the bounty on supplying m68k support in gcc for gcc.gnu.org/wiki/CC0Transition, and apparently that work has been completed too.
