@elb thanks. i think i had an account somewhere once, but lost track. for obvious reasons, trying fediverse more seriously now; and trying to find community, fellow refugees, and a mac desktop client which suits me (e.g. lets me block boosts from heavy boosters i follow).


@enoclue In the Mastodon web interface, you can select "Hide boosts from @user" in the context menu of the profile of each account that you follow.

As far as I know, this should filter your Home timeline server-side, so boosts from those users shouldn't show up regardless of the client software being used.
